Andrew Hamilton and his wife, Jill, were married in 1997, and later decided to move to Lake Forest with small children to make Lake Forest their home. Andrew and Jill have been so blessed to meet great neighbors, create and strengthen friendships, and enjoy the family-oriented atmosphere here in Lake Forest. Our city has so many positive attributes – it is a perfect place to live and raise a family. Andrew and Jill are also proud parents of two girls.
Andrew has been very active in the Lake Forest community as a volunteer AYSO soccer referee and coach; Olive Crest Foster parent; volunteer and founder of Lake Forest-based Discovered Money, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves individuals and non-profits to help find their Unclaimed Property; and volunteer and board member of True Hope Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Lake Forest.
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chief Financial Officer and small business owner in Lake Forest, Andrew’s varied accounting/finance and broad business experience provides him with a unique perspective and vision to make government work more efficiently by increasing accountability, eliminating wasteful spending and decreasing onerous regulations. With an improved business environment, residents benefit by having better opportunities to shop and dine in Lake Forest.
Andrew also has seven years of experience in government: four years as a Planning Commissioner in both cities of Tustin and Lake Forest, and three years of experience as the Chief Financial staffperson at public agencies.
Andrew Hamilton is running for City Council to ensure that our great city of Lake Forest enhances its position as a terrific and wonderful place for both residents and their families.
